An On-Site Clinic for Your Employees: The major advantage of Our 40:40 Business program is on-site healthcare. Personal MD will provide a part-time nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant who will provide convenient, on-site medical care to your employees at no charge. Your provider will address both acute and chronic illness, provide follow-up appointments, and help manage a patients health. This program is designed to improve the health of your employees, increase their productivity, and saving them time and money.
The on-site clinic will implement a targeted wellness program to address the most common healthcare problems faced by your employee group such as smoking cessation, weight control, cholesterol management, blood pressure management and cancer screenings.

Studies have demonstrated that work site wellness programs can lower health care and insurance costs, decrease absenteeism and improve productivity. In one study, The Bank of America reported that it saved $5.96 for every dollar it spent on wellness programs, while General Mills reported $3.50 saved for every dollar spent.

Your Own Company Medical Director: Under our program, we will appoint a Personal MD physician as your medical director. Your medical director will help supervise the providers managing your on-site clinic, care for the more complicated problems that may arise, help organize and promote a wellness program, and oversee your companies laboratory account.

By establishing your own account at any of the national medical laboratories, such as LabCorp, you will pay only wholesale prices for tests, helping you save literally thousands of dollar a year. The difference can be astounding. For instance the retail cost of a routine cholesterol test is $75. The wholesale cost is $3.75. That’s a 2,000 percent mark-up your company could avoid and one that would be reflected in your health insurance premiums.
